What actually means to carry the game?

Having the most damage dealt? Having the most kills? Making good shot calls? Other options? Sometimes I just feel useless after the games, most of the times I play tanks, I really love playing tanks, being the frontline, staying in the middle of the fight...but even if I do very good, coordonate the team, everyone is saying "well played (insert adc)/(insert apc)". It doesnt matter they have the score 12/11/3...and I am the one with 3/3/12, I think people have the idea that 12/11/3 is better than 3/3/12 xD It's just an example, so maybe, you can understand better why I make this post.

Making good shot calls is definitely an important factor- though can be hard in SoloQ games if no one wants to help out.

As a tank, if you're looking to try and create a winning position for your team you could always look into playing someone with a bit of waveclear in their kit or purchasing Bami's Cinder into Sunfire Cape mid game.

The recognition isn't something that comes outside of the carry roles all that often, unfortunately, which makes "carrying" hard to noticeably do.

As someone who has played Support on and off throughout the past few years, it's a loveless role a lot of the time. Tank Support, tank top, engage tank, disengage Supp, you're never allowed a congrats for saving your Carry's life, but none the less, you do it.

I for one, love the ability to have such an important say in a fight as to literally be able to tell both teams to "stop it". Especially if we're losing the fight :P

Knowing how much impact I've had on a game is enough reward in itself if it means our teams ADC/APC get's the lead and the win through our teamwork.

Well with their score they are technically carrying you, although you as the tank set them up. They are called carries for a reason. Now you can carry as a juggernaut or tank, but in general it is harder than it is for the high-damage output champions.

Carrying is not feeding, making good calls, not throwing, stomping the enemy, winning
