we need more supports

hello lovely players i just wanted to say that we need more supports champions... so, with primary role, there are: 37 fighters 30 mages 21 adc 17 tanks 15 assassins 12 supports

the thing is that some fighters can be played as assassins or even as tanks and that compensate the small number of tanks and assassins, but the supports are only 12 and just a few of mages can be played as supports, like Annie or Brand. so, the conclusion is that we need more supports champions.

I count 22 champions that the general community would consider acceptable supports Alistar Annie Bard Blitzcrank Brand Braum Janna Karma Leona Lulu Lux Morgana Nami Nautilus Sona Soraka Taric Thresh Trundle Zilean Zyra Shen

Non-traditional supports that can be successful (but I don't count these) Anivia Fiddlesticks Kennen Nidalee Nunu LeeSin Velkoz Veigar Volibear

Brand Trundle Shen No. People who play these ruin bot lane.

Trundle and Shen support have been played in the LCS. Brand is a better support than Annie in my opinion.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Shen support has become Meta...as a support main myself, I use Shen support.

ye...maybe, but we have 132 champions so i think we should more than 22 acceptable supports. and the non traditional supports are more like troll picks...

"Acceptable" and "non-traditional" supports are still not the same thing, though. We could definitely use more champions whose primary role is actually support.

Nunu is a support technically, he just fell out of meta...hard.

You forgot all the tanks that can support. Even some fighters like trundle can support.

Played against a WW support. They kicked ass after lvl 6.

I think Volibear and Nidalee make great supports. Not my favorites, but probably my non-traditional favorites.

If riot creates a new support champ, who you think will buy him and his release skin? Exactly, only the supports, the 5% of the lol play base.

Meanwhile if you create a midlaner, you have atleast a 50% player base who can buy him.

Thats why riot dont create a lot of supports.

These tags are out-dated. Support isn't even a class anymore. And plenty of "Tanks" are primary played in support position.
