Tired of the toxicity as an ADC

I recently got back into the ADC role and have been grinding to get better and better. I even got a rank 4 on Trist and rank 5 on Jinx. But for some reason lately people i have been playing with in TB have been toxic beyond belief.

I have had a few matches recently where bot lane got ganked 4 times in 10 minutes and that prevented me and my supp from getting farm. I even pinged multiple times and asked in chat for help but no one came. Then as we were losing our base, they started blaming ME , the ADC, for being a sh*t adc and to report me. I told them that i couldnt do anything because we kept getting ganked and no one helped. The response was "well i couldnt trust you to carry your lane so i didnt help". Now if it was a normal 2v2 i would somewhat understand that but i told them "how the hell am i supposed to carry when their jungler ganked us 4 times in 10 mintues and NO ONE helped us?". Of course after that they would just keep insulting.

My question is, why all the toxicity all of a sudden? I actually had to stop playing ADC again and go to a different role because of all that.

Use the mute button and report after the game. /shrug Doesn't make sense to bother responding to them.

What do you do when you get camped and no one comes? Try to tank the minions instead of letting them hit turret if possible. Make sure you back off the turret if they're 4 bot, you'll just die. Expect to be more of a support than a carry.

I get it too; I think it's because people associate it as a role where you're "supposed" to be carrying, so if they see you losing lane or getting behind they automatically assume you're a shit ADC and blame their mistakes on you.

It's the exact same with every single role. If bot lane loses the ADC will say "oh i got a shit supp that doesn't know what he's doing". If you lose lane because of ganks and your jungle doesn't gank in return it's "i lost lane because i have a shit jungle that doesn't know how to gank". I can't count how many times I've been called a shit mid because I'll be laning against someone super mobile like Leblanc or Zed with mobis, they'll roam I'll spam mia, team doesn't listen and then when they die their reasoning is "why didn't you follow your lane?". Yes, I'm going to follow an assassin into the fog of war with no idea where they are going or where the enemy jungle is. People just like to pass the blame to cover up their own mistakes.
