Blue Buff Donation

Just curious to hear some other people's opinions on this. When your mid is pushed in, not exactly behind but definitely not ahead, and you are using a jungler who uses mana and you know enemy jungler is in the top portion of their jungle, do you take the blue buff for yourself, and gank mid, hold the blue there till your laner can join you, or do you leave the blue, relieve pressure mid (risking your blue being taken by enemy jg) and then try to donate the blue after it could possibly have been stolen or warded?

If you have little mana, then you should get the blue buff so that you can use all of your abilities when you gank the lane. But if you do not need immediate mana, you should leave it for the time being for three main reasons: one, if you die, you do not want a chance of allowing the enemy mid laner from taking it from you, two, you do not want another mid turret being destroyed while you are taking something you will probably be able to take later, three, after ganking mid and using your mana (which might make it wiser to recall immediately after), hopefully you could get the blue and run around helping others with it lasting longer, which is when you would need it. I would not give the blue buff to my mid laner if I am the one that needs it more.

Depends largely on if they leashed, and if they've done anything that made me facepalm. As well as who they are and what they are building. If they are against a zed/yasuo and have a seekers? Sure I'll give them blue. But if they have a chalice already, or if I know bot/top will need a lot of attention I might keep blue.

here is my opinion if you are using a very mana dependent jungle or one with high mana costs ie warwick then i tend to keep it most of the time if im using say shaco who honestly doesn't need either buff sure ill give it to him if he asks. so i guess it really depends on who your playing
