I used to look forward to them updating older champs so they are good again but now I fear the monster they will likely create. The last truly good rework IMO is Sion or Trist. Since those two though you could argue the only reworks that were better for the game as a whole was Poppy and Gangplank. I fear for Taric and Yorick to follow the cycle of so many other reworks. They come out and are really good. They get some tuning to help them into a better spot but then they keep going and you end up with how the Juggernaut reworks went or they just ruin you like they did Shen.

The poppy rework i think was the worst

They destroyed what the champion was, she isn't an assassin anymore, she's a tank... just changed the champion entirely.

The fiora rework was fantastic, made her into a great duelist, which is what she was suppose to be. Mind you her numbers were are just too high

Shen was fine, it gave him more stuff to do, didn't really change the core of what he is, still a global pressure health stacking tank with more utility now

Sion, didn't play old sion, don't play new sion can't say really, but new sion is seeing play where as the old one never did.

The ashe rework was pretty great, she was released a bit overtuned (i got like 8 pentas in the first week with her lol) but it kept her what she was, the queen of kiting. Mind you kalista took that over really, but kalista needs to be reworked imo.

Zilean, i don't like it at all, they took what was fun about him away.

Trist, i'm glad they took some of the ap scaling away and gave her ad scaling... god she used to piss me off design wise.

The darius rework, ruined darius for me.

Poppy main pre-rework, still poppy main :) I've learned to adapt and love the new kit!

I was a Graves main before the rework. Shen was also my main tank in top lane before the rework. I play neither of them now.

most of the champs i main are pretty old so i'm honestly terrified of reworks

poppy one was good

but i miss shen. there was nothing about him that needed changing and they pretty much ruined a balanced fun champion for no reason

his play rate went down after his rework lol.

my favorite reworks thus far Darius Sejuani

both very well done

the only rework/relaunches I'd say were bad are Fiora Karma Mordekaiser . Only one of those do I have any right to criticize (Mord, since I didn't play Fiora or Karma very much) but I at least enjoyed watching old Karma a lot more

Noticed riot going downhill after Morde. Haven't liked anything since, really. Have a hard time convincing myself to log on after they remade the queue system. A more "fair" solution would be to select role at champ select, in order of pick placement. And, I dread the screw-up that will result from the "mage update"; some of my favorite champs were listed, and they will be missed. After 6 years, certainly won't be getting any more money from me.

Poppy was okay, Shen is... meh. His old kit was kinda boring overall, but this new one is a little off if you ask me. It's not the worst, but it's certainly not my favorite rework.

I'm honestly excited to see Taric's kit, and of course his voice and appearance. Only issue is it feels like he keeps getting bumped back on the patches.
