Why Kindred Is So Important To Me On a Personal Level

Hello all! I'm someone that's always struggled massively with the issue of dying and what happens after. I get pretty regular panic attacks when thinking about the potential of me dying and not going anywhere after.

It's why I always read about different religions, belief systems, and just general "crazy" ideas (like aliens evolving our conscious state to live forever and such). All of this keeps me calm and let's me think that there's a possibility that it isn't all bad. I can't even watch shows involving death where that universe doesn't have a form of afterlife.

Now League is a game I've only started playing in March of this year but it's already become a huge part of my life what with the community and how much fun I have and all. And when Kindred was announced I was so excited, not only because I'm a jungle main but because of Kindred's story. As a being that guides others to their death and Kindred is an eternal being it screams to me that there is an afterlife in League lore that isn't just undeath in the Shadow Isles. Along with Kindred's fun and exciting gameplay and movesets I have a constant overwhelming sense of peace and comfort when playing Kindred because I'm reminded of an afterlife and it allows me to keep those panic-y thoughts away.

So I would just like to say thank you to Riot and the team that worked on Kindred in every aspect, you've given me a more persistent peace of mind and a better way to escape my troubles when I play your game <3

WOW. Sounds like you don't know anyone who cares enough or knows enough to help you out. You should probably start looking for new family and friends. Gnar
