"OMG YOU DIDNT PING MIA"

if you die to a gank from a laner it's entirely your fault. Nobody needs to ping MIA because you should be warding and constantly checking minimap to see if anyone's missing. Map awareness is a basic skill. Learn it.

MIA is also a basic skill, learn it.

I ping MIA all the time and ping where the enemy jungler is all the time, yet I still agree with you. Complaining about someone not pinging MIA isn't always their fault.

i see a lot of bronzie/silver downvotes I mean they do help but shouldn't always needed

and yet its a fucking team game and you actually hurt yourself AND your team if you dont pay attention to what your laning opponent is doing. yes yes, i agree on the point you make about warding and map awareness. BUT alerting another lane that your laner might be coming might give them an edge to actually get a kill. WHY WOULDNT YOU WANT THAT?!?

You are half right. You are at fault for not pinging MIA since it is a requirement to notify your team. Failing that and you deserve to get flamed a little. But at same time you are right that if they get ganked for not warding or being too deep they are at fault.

So don't act like you are the correct one since you are just at fault as the person that died.

You should ping mia. Helping teammates is the most important skill.

I'm gonna agree. It's helpful and good teamplay to ping, but if there's a lot of crazy shit going on and you aren't in your lane, or you just got ganked or something, it's still on everyone to protect themselves.

But...why didn't you just ping MIA?

Randomonium5/5/2016, 6:46:50 PM1 votes

People shouldn't throw a fit because you didn't call MIA. That said, you should always call MIA. Remember, you need to carry your team. That also means having better map awareness than them and pinging them if they are about to get their ass kicked. Hell, if I see someone roaming I will ping 3 times to show their direction of motion (i.e. if the mid laner is roaming bot I ping once in river by mid lane, once by drag, and then once by river in bot lane.) Even the least aware allies can usually figure out what that means.
