Riot please remove the negative attitude option

This report option shouldn't exist

  1. People being truly negative is always followed by flaming which can be just reported as verbal abuse or harassment anyway.
  2. Some people misuse this report option when I'm being realistic about an obviously one sided game. I'm so mad because my botlane who unintentionally fed to the point of no return, tried to put the blame on me. I wanted to surrender ever since the game was at 2-12 in favor of the enemy which was after my botlane fed. I didn't even flame. All I do is try to surrender. Its just so sad when people who are delusional feed so hard and believe that simply believing in friendship and love is going to have us win it. I'm not kidding. Some games are so one sided, extremely. I mean kill ratios of 17-45 and the enemies have late game champs, like yi, fed early so he becomes a terror late. After the game is over, sometimes my teammates tell the other team that we lost because I was being "negative" when the OBVIOUS reason is because they fed so hard. And yet some people feed hard and have the audacity to report me when im being realistic AFTER they feed hard. Please riot remove the negative attitude option its misused by people who cant tell the difference between being realistic and actually being negative.

Why does it feel like there are so many "remove this report option" threads going around today? It's not as though Riot is going to do anything about it, pretty sure they like how it's working.

I have to disagree with you. Negative attitude is a catch all that doesn't fall under the other options. For instance, you can report someone who wants to surrender starting at the 3 minute mark and keeps spamming surrender even when the game is even (yes, this happens and more often than you would think). There are a lot of things that can fall into this category.

I don't think the system actually differentiates between negative attitude and verbal abuse reports anyway. I don't think people differentiate between them much either. If they removed negative attitude as an option I bet you would see the vast majority of those reports just turn into verbal abuse reports.
