Explain the meta: roles and their positions

Why are tanks/fighters always in the top?

Why are mages/assassins always mid?

Why is it always marksman and support in bot lane?

What is the typical role in the jungle? (assassins? or fighters?)

Does a jungle fighter and a top fighter often have the same type of kit or is it duelist vs diver?

Mages were placed mid because they are immobile and thus like the shorter lane, also they can roam both bot and top with their CC and burst. Assassins started going mid since they counter mages hard and they are really good roamers, too. Duo bot and top may be exchanged, but having two people to contest dragon early on is more advantageous, so marksman goes bot with a support. Junglers can really be any role as long as they have reasonable clear time and ganking power.

Tanks/fighters are top as they have low kill potential so they arent very good at roaming. Also its calm lane, more of a farm lane.

Mages/assasins are mid as they are generally squishy so they are closer to safety of turret and they have higher roaming potential

Mm/Support are bot because of Drake. Drake used to give alot of gold so it was contested pick.

Technically whatever team needs
