You do it to yourself Riot

I've taken breaks from League before, when the game is in an unhealthy place or the community is starting to get to me. This year I find myself walking away from the game for a week or two, coming back for a few games and immediately taking another week-long break and it 100% has everything to do with the normals matchmaker.

I am sick to death of getting into games with 4 randoms whose skill disparity ranges from literally bronze 1 to platinum 2, in the same game. This should never happen. The only way I ever get games where the matchmaker is attempting to create balanced teams is ranked. I legitimately have to only queue for ranked even when I'm trying something new or off-meta because there's a greater-than-50% chance I'll be laning against someone nowhere near my skill level in normals.

I understand not having a real matchmaker for blind pick, but just taking the first 5 random guys and putting them on the same team in draft, really? I would sit in a 20-minute queue to play a fun and balanced match of League.
