In all honesty "Duck" is a bit OP right now. (As usual after Riot adds a new element to the game.)
I recommend a few strategic nerfs to balance him:
Make Duck's head 150% bigger
Remove Duck's bill, it's preventing counterplay right now
Slice off Duck's wings; Flying OP
Decapitate Duck
Roast Duck in fire
Eat Duck with preferred condiments
I'm really disappointed in you Riot. We ask for a duck in the river and you give us this OP piece of shit that no one asked for. At this point I'm about to uninstall simply because of how you don't listen to the people. I've put in so much money to this game and all I get back is this. First you ruin Veigar and practically immobilize Kassadin and your answer to our anger is a duck??? Well.. I guess it's worth it. I mean, it is a duck. A duck. On the Rift.. DUCK.. I LOVE THIS.. TOTALLY WORTH! I LOVE YOU RIOT!!!!
Yep, when it comes to cosmetic items that have nothing to do with gameplay, they do listen now and then. :)

As a laner, yes. As a jungler, I super don't think it's necessary.
You don't even need map awareness anymore. Just listen for pings. Mid laner can now cover 2 ganking paths per side with one Mandrake Ward (placed in bushes in river). Maybe even 3! I'm not sure how big 1000 is exactly.

I think we should have a Duck Champion, i've been wanting one ever since i started playing. Male/Female has Ducklings following behind them as Eggs hopping around at first but the more you walk around they start hatching similar to Yoshi from the Super Mario Franchise. Q is a skilllshot that throws the Eggs/Ducklings, as an Egg (thrown like a bomb) it slows because of the yolk and as a Duckling (Thrown Like Quinn's Q) it hits with adding damage to Their Auto Attack, But If the Q is a missed shot you can go and pick it back up but it won't do as much damage as it did before. The W would be a Nest where you pick up more Eggs (Up to Three). The E is a Buff where the ducks built up anger gives bonus Attack Speed and Attack Damage Like Donald Duck. Their R is a Giant Egg Controlled like Sion's ult and when it hits it cracks open into a Giant Duck that is controlled like Tibbers.
I really hope that this will be seen and considered by Riot. This can be The Dawn of The Ducks!!! The Duck's Skins could be Dino Duck, Diner Duck, Rich Duck, and Toon Duck. Duck Skins for: Quinn and Valor, Fizz, and Kog'maw. Comment your ideas. Great now all Rift needs is a statue with a large number of weapons at top lane.
Come on Riot, you guys asked me what I wanted to see on the new summoners Rift map and I said a giant statue with four arms screaming and each arm wielding a different weapon at the wall where top lane was in the middle bush.
