Suspension Without Review
I've had numerous accounts bans throughout my LoL career pertaining to my "verbal" conduct. I've posted my in-game chat multiple times and when I was looking through the tribunal, I noticed something very vital... lack of video evidence.
Whenever I'm reading the stuff I type that is the reference for my account ban or chat suspension, I never SEE the problem. Then it hit me, it's because I was in that game and I know what was happening.
Let's say you (the reader) walk around the corner and witness me calling somebody a "fucking suicidal r%%%%%" ... you'd initially find my comment to be uncalled for and would find it appropriate for me to keep my mouth shut. That's how the TRIBUNAL works, therefore I get chat suspension for 20 games.
Now same situation, but this time you have to investigate the reason. Seconds before my "fucking suicidal r%%%%%" comment was made, I had just witnessed a person on a bike fly through a red light without looking both ways and witnessed his back tired get hit by a car going 40 mph, he flies off his bike unto the sidewalk, gets up, then blames me for not saving him. At this point, calling him a "fucking suicidal r%%%%%" seems warranted.
Let's translate this to a League situation. Let's say I'm supporting as
for
and there's a low health
under the turret with a low health
report. Let's assume the Leona and Vayne raped Quinn and Soraka to low health. We push our minion wave to the turret then our good old jungler
comes to assist, Vayne and Yi attack Quinn, get blinded, Soraka uses her
, Soraka and Quinn live, Yi and Vayne die for a Quinn double kill.
Obviously, from this point, the arguing starts and Leona let's them know how fucking stupid they are for taking the bait. The end of this match gets Leona a chat suspension or week long account ban.
But... what if the people that made the decision to ban, saw what started the toxic behavior.
