Request/Idea to riot about Summoner name changing

Hi, this is just an idea/request that i think would be fair and many people would like it. When it comes to summoner names, people have ones that other people want. I think, if an account is inactive for long enough (lets say 2-3 years or so, because by that time they are probably never going to log on again). their summoner name should be reset to something like "summoner 16745" like a default name. So that the people who ARE ACTIVE and PAYING for a summoner name change should be able to change it to the name that an inactive account has. This is just an idea/request that i honestly think is pretty clever and fair.

Let me know what you think, if you agree or disagree.

If they really haven't played a game for that long you can take their name, not with a new account but a name change.

This is already a thing. That's how I got my name. If they're inactive for the required amount of time, their name is up for grabs. They are prompt to pick a new name if they ever log on again Go to the place where you change your name and it'll tell you if it's available yet

Doesn't beat the idea whenever someone doesn't log on for 2 years and then logs back on the final day and plays a game just so he can keep his "unique" name for him self a extra 2 years just for the idea of having it or selling it for real money..

Which Riot doesn't care much about, to be blunt.

It's not hard to get "unique" summoner name tho, I went through "Dunked, Fact, Greatest, Pride and Lucky" summoner name on my main. http://www.auplod.com/u/plaoud91db7.png

Why this thread even got upvoted? This already happened 3 years ago. Level 1 to 6 = 6 months inactive protection and 1 month extra per level after level 6.... I've changed my summoner name 23 times. http://www.auplod.com/u/plaoud91db7.png
