There REALLY needs to just be an option of leaving the game during champion select, w/out having to shut down League completely. Also the timer is ridiculous. I just bought Cass, I want to play her at mid. Why am I being punished for five mins because some other player says in chat, "I called mid first." So either my options are, switch to a champion I don't want to play, play the champion I want to play anyways and troll my team, or I can quit the game and be punished for it. :/

Riot, THIS is the kind of stuff that makes people leave your game.

Better question, why should I have to be placed back into que and wait for a new lobby to be made simply because YOU did not get your champion. When you hit "Accept" to the lobby you are agreeing to stay in and play the game, by dodging you are causing an inconvenience to NINE other players.

Also in blind pick it is basically a RANDOM PICK ORDER, the first person to call (pick) a lane gets it, dodging because you got beat to the punch is like throwing a fir when a groups called to line up and you didn't get what you wanted because you are third.

Totally agree with riot, enjoy your timeout.

they should at least change the the wording on it to:

"Because you didn't want to get abused for 30 minutes by trolls, feeders, and toxic assholes, we are making you wait to play another game, because fuck you!"

This is why I have several level 30 accounts.

Shade, this is how players take a "time out" from League...I shut the game down. I'm going to be playing another game. I'll not be possibly spreading awareness of a possible good/bad/fun match I had on social media, or any of my gaming sites. I'll damn sure not be spending yet more money on League. Since, yeah I DO want to play the champion I spent every single day playing League to get, grinding out IP, suffering through bad matches of SR & ARAM. Instead "I'm" the bad guy, because I don't want to watch some idiot Talon go mid, and likely get destroyed by an OP Yasuo??

Removing the dodge penalty would lead to a lot more queue-dodging simply because if there's no penalty for doing it people will do it more and will do it for pretty much any reason. You think it's fun trying to get a match now, imagine when that guy who said 'I called mid!' can just dodge every game he gets in until he gets mid... when mid is the most-demanded role in the game (Note this would also be you). Or when anyone who gets support dodges because 'fill' often means 'anything but support.' Hope you like the main page, because you'd be seeing a lot more of it.

I have a small following of people that follow my games. Also I never said, to remove the penalty completely, just that it is ridiculous. Five minutes? I have to wait five mins just because I don't want to get stuck possibly in a game for 40 damn minutes, playing the support role AGAIN?? I'm being shoe-horned into playing a game in a way I don't want to, how is this fun at all? I think a minute to wait would be far more reasonable. Or bring back the system where I list, I want to play Cassiopeia, and I want to play her in mid, and that's all. Don't add me into a fucking game otherwise.

Yes BeatzBoy I have done that mode. I did it right after that game I dodged. I sat and waited for 4 more mins, with mid and fill selected (why can I not just select I "only" want to play mid??) I instead got support, which I have gotten nothing but while I do new champ select, for 2 weeks now. I have not played a game of League as mid in what seems like a year...

So I have queue'd up AGAIN in champion select, and ONCE AGAIN got support, I leave the game. Come back in, and now the game delay timer is fucking FOURTEEN MINUTES. THIS is BS, Riot. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

...aaaand I sit in the other game mode, waiting four minutes just to get into one game, wanting to play mid, and what do I get? Fucking support, again. (I've been delegated to support in SR every game now, for 2 weeks in a row. Hence why I play nothing but ARAM.)
