Win rate shouldn't exist.

Given the fact there are so many trolls in this game. Given the facts that Riot and LOL does nothing about it. It shouldn't exist. In a team game, an individual win rate should not exist.

Not going to lie, OP does have a point. Was very difficult getting out of Silver and bronze for me... i just had a streak of Nontroll teams.

It's working, since the majority of ranked players in LoL are silver. Being bronze 4, you're below average. Maybe you should work on your own skill personally.

I am not below average. That what my team did, not me. Maybe you should stay out of the way. Nothing is working. This system is horrible! I am getting punished for having bad teammates. I took a week and got a lot better at this game and it doesn't matter how good I get. If I have a bad team I will lose. Period. So, people like you need to quit with your flawed argument!

Dude, have you ever considered starting up another account? You have already tanked your MMR and will lose more LP for every loss then you will gain for each victory. You started off on the wrong foot and now find yourself trapped in Bronze 5 with no plan to actually get out. Since you don't have the right attitude or skill to get out maybe you should consider just restarting.

but yet you dont speak the truth in terms of your ability. or lack of it. you have over 300 games in ranked, yet you cant get out of bronze 5. not all of those loses can be your team and not you. for the last time, you belong in b5 because you dont have the skill to get out. MANY people from gold and silver have tried and you just keep losing. you need to improve. not just your teamates, you. you only have a win rate 50% or higher with 2 champions. the other 13 you have lost more than won. you need to take some time out of ranked and play normals. Ranked is not the place to practice, normals is and trust me you need alot of it.

If not win rate, how do you propose Riot determines individual rank based on teamplay? Regardless of trolls or not, win/loss is the least abusable way to calculate how good a player is at effecting a win.

anything is better than the system that exists now. It's not right to tie my record to 4 random players who might do anything. Take Michael Jordan. He's on of the greatest players ever. Part of one of the greatest teams of all time as well. Now give in him a starting 5 of 4 random teammates every game and see how much he wins. What Higher Elo players are asking is not possible. Unless you avoid troll teams from Bronze to Gold or Bronze to whatever which won't happen.

In a game of 4 randoms and Michael Jordan vs 5 randoms, the team with Michael Jordan is far more likely to win than the other one due to Michael Jordan's disproportionate skill level. This is the case for every game he plays until he gets to the level of other people close to his skill level, and his team's likelihood of winning continues to be higher than the opponents'.

What if that random 5 has Wilt on it? This system needs to change. Kevin Garnett is a good example. How long was he on the T'Wolves? How many winning seasons did they have?

Ya, that might reduce his chances to win that specific game. But that has very little impact if hes playing 100s of games. Because the next game he is 100% going to have Michael Jordan on his team(because he is Michael Jordan), and the other team most likely wont have Wilt Chamberlain.

If you are above average for your rank you always have someone above average on your team while the opposing team is only sometimes going to have someone above average. So if you play 100+ games then that is going to be reflected in your win rate.

That response doesn't even make sense. 100s and 100+ are obviously arbitrary choices so I guess you could call them made up but they also aren't specific and are really just placeholders for "a lot". 100% of games Micheal Jordan plays he has Micheal Jordan on his team, that's just a fact.

You, your team, and you opponents are all chosen from the same pool of players. So if your opponents are "always working together" and yours isn't then you are the overwhelmingly most likely reason for that.

You don't even think your role is influential on the game so its not surprising to hear you complain that your teams struggle.

Its also a phrase used when talking about statistical likelihoods. I'm not claiming it to be a fact that there is no chance something is holding you back, but every single game you play it is less likely to be anything other than you.

Couldn't back out because or I would be placed in lower quques. But hey that's okay because I got demoted because of it. Three straight bad games with people who couldn't either adc or top and we lose, thus I lose. But I have to suffer because they are picking people they don't normally use in ranked. And I am stuck with these people?! Yep, this game sucks and it should be forced to change!
