@Riot Legal Why do I have to accept every time?

So, there is a new patch today, and with every new patch I have to reaccept the end user license agreement and terms of use. So, I was looking at them and they were each last updated in October 2012. Explain to me why I have to reaccept something that hasn't changed in over 3 years please.
