I've just spent the last month getting screwed by HP Customer Support.

I had to send my computer in to have the hinge repaired since a manufacturing defect with the hinge caused the case to start breaking apart 8 months after purchasing it. Two weeks later, I received the computer back with it having been reset to factory condition (I don't know why as it had nothing to do with the problem) and the hinge not repaired.

I send it back in and it comes back two weeks later with the hinge repaired (after having to talk them down from $400 to $100 for something warranty should have covered) and the WiFi adapter is worse than it used to be. The signal drops occasionally and I can't access the WiFi from many locations in my house where I previously could.

I'm really hoping it was just the antenna being repositioned or the wires came loose during transport since those should be fairly simple to fix. However, I'm not going to be purchasing another HP Laptop again.

In comparison, Riot Support is a godsend.
