Death Fire Grasp And Yorick
Can someone explain to me how that would work... Does the mastery activate on CAST or during every one of the ghouls AA?

It applies during the initial damage when the spell is cast, but not on the autoattacks. Ghoul autos don't apply spell effects, with the exception of the 'summoned minions' slow from Rylai's.
