aurelion sol is ao shin, just like all champion concepts they change over time, in this case, hits name and kit has changed maybe his appearance a little too but its still the base concept

I love how Morello is still the bad guy in these posts. Reminds me of the hilarious Champion stories on old General Discussion where Garen came to terms with his being a wizard, Morello was the bad guy, and Ghostcrawler was the BIG BAD guy.

I'm willing to bet that the new dragon champion is going to be more of a western design simply so they can avoid some of the problems they mentioned. To this I say cool I would love a western dragon in lol, but that doesn't mean you have to kill Ao Shin. I mean God forbid you have two completely design dragons based around two different themes. That would be like have two humanoid champions and almost as bad as having two of those humanoid champions you know be the same race, like human.

Actually, they said that Aurelion Sol is a name that is tentative, which means Aurelion Sol might not be the acutal name for the new champion, which means that the champion's name can still be Ao Shin. If it's not, RIP, Ao Shin 2013-2016.[zombie-nunu-tears]

On the other hand, I'm glad to hear that Riot didn't completely abandon the idea. I hope this Aurelion Sol will live up to the hype that was created all that time ago. At the very least, I hope the new dragon will still have Eastern influences to it.
