Future use of Gemstones?

Out of sheer luck I was able to do a straight pull of Annie Hextech from a chest but now I am curious of what to do with a Gemstone I pulled earlier. Is there any news or rumors of future hextech skins that gemstones may activate into or any other forecasted ideas of their use? Or should I just turn it into its second use and make it into a chest/key combo now?

I think you can turn the gemstones into the Hextech Ward Skin, if you already have the Annie skin
