Duo no longer allowed in ranked. In pregame champ selection a vote may be started against a teammate. If the other 4 players choose against the 5th player, the selected player is booted with a time ban and all summoners are returned to searching in queue.
Dateline NBC1 votesWhy wouldn't duo be allowed?
Maybe is the person is question is duoing, they only need 3 yes votes and their duo partner can't vote.
MrPerfect CeII1 votesThey have already played with the idea in different patch notes saying they may remove the duo option. I agreed with it then. Plus, for it to include the time ban, a ban being serious I think 4 is a much stronger number than 3. Just my opinion
