Despite how bad people are playing with him he isint that bad iv seen some decent/good bards total a few people and carry games as support or mid
i personally lilke him though i tend to avoid usig his ult unless were chasing or trying ot lock down baron/drag
The Bard ULT with Veiger is pretty nasty.. I have seen some pretty nasty tripple and even quadra kills from it.
A lot of the problem I have wit him is his low damage contribution in lane, his stun is a little bit TOO conditional for someone who is supposed to be providing CC as a main contribution, and his ult is easier to screw people over with than to be helpful with.
I'm about ready to auto-dodge any game that uses Bard, or make my own team builder queues just so I can auto-kick them.
Well he might get a buff later on if people think his CC isint all that great or they may do what they did with gnar and release another one a bit early
His damage isn't enough in lane without having 25~ chimes for the Cone basic attack, and chimes only spawn in pairs every 50 seconds and sometimes only spawning 1. The chimes also don't have any increasing EXP as the game progresses so it becomes less and less worth it to roam as the roaming support. 20 EXP when I need 880 EXP to level and when I'm missing out on 100+ gold in my lane isn't worth it.
The problem is you never know if he is a troll or good. A good player can make some good plays while a troll can cost you an entire game game with his ult by helping the enemy team get away by ulting his own team, screw his team by ulting drag/baron or open gates to a gank and get his team mates killed.
Majority of Bards who say they "Main Him" even though he has only been out not that long are usally the ones who troll. You never know though till it's to late and you are in game.
Easy, because Doublelift hasn't instalocked him in LCS yet.
Soon as someone famous plays him, they'll be an influx of people that stream into ranked with him, battling for control over which team gets to have him.
Remember when I first started playing, when somebody told me "two people always go bot", and I was confused. I was just like "wait, what's the difference between top and bot? There doesn't appear to be an - " "THAT'S JUST HOW IT IS DON'T QUESTION THE ALMIGHTY META! NOTHING ELSE WORKS, DO IT!"
6 Months later "Omg, dude, did you hear how Korea is doing a 1v2 bot lane, that's -- so smart -- !!!" "..."

Love playing him, can't wait for that sweet spot between nerf and people not bitching at me for taking him in ranked.
