stop saying Galio had no fans or people that mained him

ok Seriously stop acting like "Galio Mains" are just popping up out of nowhere like they are new and crap. Galio has had mains for years. nothing has been going on with the champion until this rework so of course no one would be talking about him until now there was basically nothing to talk about other than with other Galio Mains.

people do this everytime a champ gets reworked. The Fans of the champ say the things they don't like about the rework because they loved the old one. the people that didn't like the old one come in and tell those fans of the original champ to shut up. than it becomes a mess of people flinging crap at each other

the fans of the original champs know a rework is coming they aren't stupid. but when the change is so big that it changes so many things that almost if not all of the original champ is Deleted than of course the old fans are gonna get pissed off. and than on top of that they have to deal with people telling them thing they love is shit and they need to move on or shut up.

imagine if some champ you loved got changed or basically replaced and everyone told you that you needed to shut up

Things change that is a given but the definition of rework is "make changes to something, especially in order to make it more up to date." Changing the thing entirely and giving it the same name isn't bringing something up to date. it's making something new.

Yea, I think new Galio seems WAY better than old Galio, but I recognize he's also way different and that the niche old Galio had will no longer exist. Those players are losing what they play.

It would be like taking Ahri, and reworking her to have only a single dash, no MS on her Q, and way more damage and faster travel time on her E. Okay, great - she's now just like almost every assassin out there. And that's a much smaller change than most of these reworks are, but the point is that it removes her identity and replaces it with something that >50% of players may prefer (i.e. there are more assassin mains combined than Ahri mains).

I think new Galio sounds broken. I think he also sounds fun. I also think old Galio was pretty well balanced and didn't need any changes.

I wish Riot would learn that NOT EVERY CHAMPION needs to be picked a lot. It's OKAY to have some niche champions. Some players like to play a less popular champion or a champion with an older design. There's nothing wrong with that and Riot shouldn't disrespect them so much.

New Galio is sufficiently different that he could have been an entirely new release (a release we don't need mind you, I really wish we would have fewer champion releases as this game is getting too big for its own good...). Old Galio and new Galio could have existed as two different champions, and you would still see old Galio getting played.

hmm i played galio as a support on regular basis vs heavy ap comps. ..

he is one of my fav champs along with NUNU

i kinda like some of the things they did with the rework i dont like the visual , i prefer the darker , medieval Gothic them galio has... this brand new bright and white theme kinda is blah to me

The difference between galio and sion or yorick, for example, was that he was actually viable and had a healthy kit.

Oh well. i guess we get another generic bruiser with overloaded crowd control.

kind of like the taric rework that left nothing from his old kit around
