Question about refunds
So I know in the original announcement concerning refunds, Riot stated:
"You only get three refunds per account, per lifetime"
But I just want to know why? Why can't we accrue them once per year or so?

There was a post like this a while ago that said we should get a refund once every season. But I don't know what there planning on doing it.
Well it was originally 0 refund policy back in the days. Then Riot started the ok we give you 3 refunds in case you guys misclicked or really dislike the purchase kinda thing. Thus, why it was 3 per acc per life time.
