Taken For A Fool

Ok, I'll admit. Maybe I'm too nice. Maybe I just was enjoying the Christmas season too much, and wanted to be nice to a random stranger.

So I played an ARAM, just now. And we won. Well during the match the fizz on the other team said in all chat,

"Anyone want to trade mystery skins?"

I decided to be nice, in hopes of helping a fellow league player and decided to do it, so I said yeah. Well after the game He added me, and unfortunately I couldn't add RP so we had to play another game together so I could add RP to my account then do it after the screen. Well we won together again. He also had a friend with him, who asked if I wanted to trade with him too. I politely said no, that I didn't have /that/ much money. Anyway, After our win I gifted him, and wouldn't you know it. He immediately left the end screen results, and I'm guessing has either unfriended me or has ignored my messages. So now that's money down the drain. Good one Mr. Stranger, Hope you enjoy your TPA Nunu skin and it was worth the time you spent tricking me.

So in short, remember there are bad people out there who will trick you for money. Good night everyone.

Anyone have any experiences like this they want to share? Also does anyone know if i could get a refund or anything could be done like this. I do understand it's my fault, but it would be awesome if I could get my money back, although I understand if I can't.

Darn that sucks. I don't have nearly enough rp to gift, but I know I would have fallen in the same trap. Anxiety is a cruel joke and clouds your sense of reality sometimes :(

If you can confront him, maybe secretly friend him back, do it and make amends. If not, just rest comfortably (as you can) in the joy that you received by giving instead of taking this holiday season :)

I fell for that trick once. E-mailing support goes no where, pretty much if you agree to send someone a gift, it is final.
