"You would like this" Algorithm

When 3 of the 5 suggested champs from your 2016 in review are ones you have absolutely no interest in, but your friend's suggested champs are all ones he's interested in. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Actually come to think of it, this kind of thing happens to me with the My Store stuff too and idk why. Somehow my preferences in the game just seem to partially break their "oh they'll like this" algorithms so they suggest stuff I want or would want about 10% of the time. Rest of it is just stuff I have no interest for.

Does anyone else "break the system" like this or am I alone? I wish I would fit their algorithms better so I could get stuff suggested to me that I actually like most of the time.
