Good for you!

Just don't come here and rage when people are upset with you, because it will happen. You can call them sheep, lemmings, or weird bears that follow other bears, but someone somewhere is going to complain about your off meta pick. And it's okay, so long as you are picking things that work.

I've said this a few times lately, but the meta is not a list of viable champions. It's a list of responsibilities that certain positions have within the current state of the game... things like 'tanky toplane' or 'carry jungler' or 'assassin mid' or 'initiator support' etc.

If your champ is capable of fitting that, then it isn't off-meta, it just might not be top tier. THere's nothing wrong with playing a non-top-tier champ that you are incredibly good with. However, if you're ACTUALLY going off meta, I feel it is your responsibility as a player to make sure that your team is aware of AND OKAY WITH your off meta pick so that they aren't lacking something they expect to have and thus throw the entire teamcomp out the window.
