Sightstone Idiocy

Am I a bad support for buying wards, instead of buying Sightstone? I mean, It just, it seems like a waste of early game gold to me when I could just buy the wards, the fact that it offers free wards isn't the issue, the issue I have with it, is that it only gives HP as a stat, there is nothing else, sure I may have the bushes warded, but what about my survivability if I manage to get caught defending my adc? I just find it rather useless other than making gold easier to come by. Also, i'd like to complain that if you adc, and you complain that the support is taking your creep when you are at the spawn and nowhere close to the lane where the creep is being taken by your support, shut the hell up, you weren't going to get it, its better that the support gets it, than letting it go to waste.
