Am I the only one who thinks Zyra is underwhelming to play as and against, Plants get 2 shotted, they do 50% less damage if attacking the same target, and their damage scales off Zyras level, HOWEVER:

Shaco boxes can scale off AP and last 60 seconds if not triggered, and they fear anything nearby unless its dragon or baron and they are invisible until someone is nearby them
Heimerdinger turrets are permanent unless destroyed, scale with AP, and attack endlessly without consuming Heimerdingers mana

Even Nidalees W hurts more in Human Form, and its just a trap but it also lasts a long time, not to mention Zyras plants, can't attack turrets, the only thing that should be 1 shotting plants early on, is the turret.

I dont think so. Zyras plants do shitloads of damage both earlier and later in the game. If your lane opponent tries to kill them, they eat 2 extra shots for free which is about 50-100 damage. Zyra is one of the scariest pokers because of the plants, and if they dont get focused down quickly, they still wreck shit in teamfights, especially when ulted. Not to mention she is probably the best counterengager and has huge AoE burst even without her plants. The only buff I would really want is making her plants' HP scale with level. They get instantly killed by ADCs late game.

zyra is kinda weak in a way. kinda a weak version of hiemer. i had suggested buffs to make her passive a lot better. liek make it so all seeds spawn enraged plants which would go hand in hand instead of the true damage passive or make her passive a global.

I honestly think Zyra's in a healthy spot right now. ._. She has disgusting damage in a teamfight if she unloads everything before dying, and has the option to stay at a pretty generous range if she's not willing to be a suicide bomber. And the Luden/Rylai/Liandry combo? Horrendous... absolutely fucking horrendous.

If you build Zyra full Mpen, her plants hit for a good bit during the time it takes to kill them. She's kind of like Vel'Koz, really -- low AP ratios mean that mpen works better than flat AP.

Riot has made Zyra retarded. All her abilities have delays on cast, on missile speed, on activation. So in addition to being mediocre damage-wise and slow-moving and squishy besides, she also gets to be unreliable. I sigh every time an indestructible Azir soldier takes off half my adc's health with 1 auto, because that's what Zyra's plants used to be able to do, with no ingenious dashing ability, and no wall of doom to keep her safe.

Zyra was made to be a control mage, but right now shes a suicide mage because you cannot rely on your plants for damage and gotta build full AP and just "all in" the enemy. Of course you'll probably die in the process but thats all Zyra is good at ATM
