% of RP spent on League 1 given to players that continue on to League 2?

Just a thought, assuming Riot doesn't choose to continue updating the game for many years instead of starting over, if there were a LoL 2, or other similar game with a different name made by Riot, it would be cool if Riot would show appreciation to their old supporters by giving some percentage amount of RP that they previously bought with their old account/accounts (perhaps combining all old accounts RP spent) into their new account? You would just need to verify by typing in your old login info, selecting the server it was based in, then confirming by email I suppose.

I don't know if this new game would use the old champions/ward skins/etc, but if it did, it would be nice if that carried over as well, though I suppose they have to profit somehow.

if there is a lol 2 and if it includes champions from lol 1, they should be free, and any skin purchases should transfer over.

WoW never got a WoW2, I suspect LoL would meet the same fate. Dota got it because well, it was transitioning from a Blizz mod to a Valve game.

But not getting a sequel to me is problematic as there are many fundamental flaws this game has and it's too late to try and fix them, I would rather see LoL2 happening tbh.

I don't think there would ever be a LoL2.

My initial thought was that if there was an LoL 2, it would be because of a massive content/coding overhaul that it couldn't be reasonably considered a patch, and would include enough work on it that giving us RP based on our old accounts kind of robs the workers of payment for their services.

However, and not to play the hate-on-Riot game, then I considered how much income Riot Games has grossed over the last three years, and how we still don't have rather basic improvements like an east coast server or an improved client that doesn't suffer from such a restrictive runtime (Adobe AIR), I'd say if there was an LoL 2, it would be merely a patch-worthy update for the intention of migrating the current player base to a new account, so that those willing to pour the same income into the new account would provide them with more profit.

I am not implying Riot is particularly greedy, they have just come to make me feel like they don't care about their player base as a whole. They've come to make me feel they mostly only care about all things that encompass LCS, and those unworthy to play in the LCS just need to be exposed to minimum satisfaction to their experience in terms of updates so they'll buy RP and continue to support the eSport. Which, I am not claiming focusing on the eSport is bad; it is their prime method of profit. Yes, focus on it, make it better, make more profit. But not everyone plays in or even watches the LCS, and we want to be taken care of too.

^Just my opinion. But I feel LoL 2 doesn't make much sense unless it's a scheme for profit.

We really need an LoL2 because the moba genre is moving on to more accessible and diverse games like HotS. The casual community will leave the hardcore behind and Riot will have no choice.
