Which Char?

Wasn't sure what board to place this in, I need help finding a champ to play. I'm relatively new and my favorite right now is but I was looking for some good ones to play. I play kind of a mix between fighter and assassin with and my friend told me to try but I'm not sure. Any suggestions will be helpful guys. TY
