My client just crashed in ranked champion select. I lost 10 lp and am at -10 lp for Silver 3. Does that mean if I lose a match I am already down to silver 4? I have not done a single game in silver 3 yet and also have a 30 min wait time as well.
I think so, unless you have high MMR. If you do have higher than average MMR, then you'll have a larger grace period.
Just lost a match to a troll and I did not get demoted thankfully. He had taliyah pick for bot and when I asked him if he was going to play the champ he said yes. So I though I hard to hard carry with ad so I went rengar. As soon as it is his turn he goes draven. Fees lane and because I was first pick I got countered by a kayle and rammus. Fun game. Still at -10 lp. Hello silver 4 again.
