Watching him play during our game, my soul just kept splitting into smaller pieces every time I killed him. When the match was over, I attempted to talk to him to give him tips for playing Viktor, (focusing on maxing first and getting instead of just buying assorted items, maxing his E first, warding river so he wouldn't be ganked by or , etc.) but he left before I could talk to him. (I blacked his name out, not my intention to get him harassed for "lel Viktor scrub")

It's this sort of thing that confuses me when people say "AMG VIKTOR SO OP RITO NERF PLS"

i just dont see why you couldnt have helped him in game? why wait till after that game when that game is already done. he could be playing a different champion next game, and probably never play viktor again. If you were there to criticize you would have told him him something to help him improve which you obviously didnt. heck if he left right after i dont even see why you needed to post that in the chat since he would have never saw it in the first place. so you probably should have done it in game where he would more than likely see it! Again if you are going to criticize its better to actually help, than just stating that he was bad! you need positives and negatives!

I didn't. I hardly spoke (if at all) in all chat, and in the post-game lobby, he left before I could give him advice. If it were my intention to hate on him, I wouldn't bother blacking out his name and I'd encourage you to go call him out on his performance.

you seem pretty condescending just from your post alone. For all we know you could have said more in game. we have no proof of what you did, but judging by this post alone should sum up pretty well about your actions! Also he could have just had a bad game. I just dont see what you were trying to do with this post aside from making fun of someone who doesnt play Viktor like you!

Again, if the point of this post was to make fun of him, I wouldn't have bothered blacking out his name. What is the point then? The point is to show that I'm both confused (and slightly irritated) to see people play Viktor incorrectly (not upgrading item 3200 until level 9+, leveling W first, not focusing on AP, etc.)

"to the Viktor on the other team: you're playing him wrong" was my comment to alert him that I was able to give him advice to correct his mistakes. Considering that he left before I could explain why, both you (and he) take it as an insult when really it was attempted criticism, NOT hating for incorrectly playing Viktor.

Guess I'll just start being toxic instead of trying to constructively criticize new/bad players, because we all know that toxic players are better than players that honestly attempt to help you.
