Thank You, Riot
Riot, I just wanted to say thank you for all your great work, to be honest you guys(and girls) don't get nearly enough credit for all the wonderful stuff you do. With the new lore update for Janna, you executed it perfectly. She was changed from some Zaunite orphan who found she has air powers to an elemental spirit of the wind, who's practically a deity now who just wants to help and protect people. Her new biography was incredibly well written and gave her much more depth as a character than her original lore. She was a simple spirit who was strengthened by prayers and over time became well essentially a goddess until she lost it all to the machines of man, until the machines backfired and all the people cried out for her protection again. Her short story, Deep Breath, was even more well written than her bio, which I didn't think was possible, and really expressed how important she is to the people of Zaun. Honestly, the moment she said, "It's going to be okay.", I couldn't help but start crying. I had to take a 10 minute break before I could finish reading it because I was crying that much. Whoever wrote that should be given a Noble Prize. The best part is, just a while ago, I posted a discussion asking for you guys to only just flesh out her character. I don't know if you guys even saw that post, but you went above and beyond my expectations. You completely rejuvenated her for me, and I can't even begin to both thank and congratulate you for your amazing work.
This isn't just about Janna either. Since I was 12 I watched live streams and videos of League and instantly fell in love with it. The gameplay, the champions, all of it was so amazing that I swore the moment I could I would instantly get it. I waited 3 years. Just last Christmas I got my first PC and only 30 minutes after unwrapping it, I was already downloading League. I've now been playing officially for over a year, and you guys made every match worth it. With 6.9, you upgraded Zyra to the amazing powerhouse she is, and I couldn't stop playing her for 3 weeks, the whole time I was just so happy. And that happiness was because of you. Now I know this is going to sound stupid, and that this is only a game, and even though I might get mad at you guys and post some stupid angered fueled posts, I just want you to know I'll always love you guys for all the amazing work you do and the fun you bring to millions across the world.
