Longest win streak and lose streak.

I'm on my longest right now -- 11. I won 6 ranked, then 2 normals I played because I was afraid the streak would end, then 3 more ranked. All as Karma and Master Yi with one Janna game. My previous longest was 10, but mostly normals.

I won games with some odd teammate picks too: a Jayce jungle, a Yasuo jungle, and supporting an AP Ryze bot. Aaaaand two of my games I played mid, which used to be (still is?) my worst role!

My longest losing streak was 14 (all ranked). I'd like to beat it, but right now I'm scared to even queue.

I lost SO MANY Karma games this season trying to build her like a traditional support. Now I just build damage. And I don't waste gold on Tear, I just tolerate being low often and I take the mastery for 5% health/mana back on kill or assist - actually useful!

EDIT: It stopped at 11.

Havent played much ranked yet. Won 6 in a row before and lost 3 in a row before. Those are my highest w/l streaks.

For normals I expect it would be slightly higher (for both), partly aided by the fact that I'll often screw around in normals and play crap like Vayne jungle and when I try hard I seem to win with a really high percentage (because theres a Vayne jungle on the other team).

Yeah I think tryharding in normals generally leads to wins, just because most people are trying new champs or experimenting with builds or just having fun. Streak still counts though (=.

Only 3 losses for your biggest losing streak is incredible though. Are you new?

I've been playing since January but I only have about 70 ranked games. I'm Silver 1 but MMR has me against people in Gold 1-3, so there's that.

I was a high masters SC2 player when I quit playing in January and switched to league, so I'm pretty good at games like this.

Regardless, I'm sure I'm in for my fair share of bad luck some day ;)

Gold MMR in 70 ranked games is incredible, but SC2 Masters is just ridiculous. Were you a multi-glad in WoW too?

I'm mid-Gold after over a year of playing, and this is the first game I've sort of been good at.

The biggest thing I've learned from SC2 in particular is not to get too invested in a single game. It makes you resent a lot of things that you would normally overlook. I can't even bring myself to play the game anymore because of how angry it made me lol.

That's actually why I play so little ranked LoL. Mid-gold after a year is pretty good as well you know ;) I have friends who came from SC2 with me that play a lot more ranked than I do, and they're all mid gold - mid plat in range. They were all platinum or higher in SC2 themselves!

I got to diamond promos in SC2 but that was back at launch with double barracks @11 supply cheese.

You're comparing high masters in sc2 to league? Theyre not even close high masters in sc2 has an absurd amount more to keep track of, and that's in a 1v1

I'm just saying a lot of the skills transferred over.

Watching the minimap while multitasking, mouse precision, etc.

for my longest losing streak I would have to go back to like season 2 where I must have lost like 37 ranked games straight. As for a Win streak, I dont really keep track of it much

Na, was just one of those streaks where it doesn't matter what you do, somehow you managed to find a way to lose as a team lol

Honestly it probably is something to do with you if you've truly lost 55 in a row before... That seems unreasonably high though. I think probability would have a heart attack with that number.

On my fourteen game losing streak it was definitely my fault. I could barely stay awake, I was HAMMERED, I was super toxic to me team. I don't think I've lost more than 8 in a row besides that.

On my win streak I think a lot of it was me too though. I was just in the zone. Godlike Yi teleports and intelligent W-shield thing and my Karma just hit every Q and always used the right Mantra... After the end of the streak I'm playing normals with a buddy and I'm just garbage again.

We really can affect our games. In a big way.
