Heimerdinger passive change idea.

After remaining still for 1 second heimerdinger starts building a "mobile platform" around himself. If he remains still for a full 3 seconds he finishes construction. Upon taking 25xlvl damage the mobile platform is destroyed. Turrets can be built on top of the mobile platform allowing them to move with Heimerdinger. Turrets will drop in place when the mobile platform is destroyed. The Mobile platform is a small ring that hovers at 300 Unit radius around Heimerdinger.

Idea seems interesting, very interesting to be honest. Maybe the passive could have some kind of cooldown like 10 seconds if he fails to construct it.

Agreed. I think this will allow the option of a more mobile heimer, since their improving mages anyway, but his ability to be mobile AND destructive takes time and risk.

This passive would change Heimerdinger into a mobile turret system. Inevitably this will mean turret nerfs down the line. The only reason they're as strong as they are is because they cannot be moved. He needs time to set them up and create a zone. This would make him a walking turret zone.

What if his passive was instead: Heimerdinger works on a turret, testing it every 1.6 seconds. (By which I mean firing it at the highest priority nearby enemy. It will not attack monsters you are not attacking.) The turrent gains more damage as it readies itself. (This ties directly into the turret preparation cooldown.) Once a turret has been completed, Heimerdinger packs it away. (Somewhere.)

It's a give and and take, players won't want to be mobile if they have to construct so much in order to do it. And especially if they lose the ability to spread out the turrets with the platform. plus, aoe spells will destroy that play style and 90% of the time the mid laner wouldn't let him get away with it. It's just an option for heimer players.

We don't need the cancer to be mobile, thank you.

Not a heimer fan?

He's fun, and not a huge problem, but the way he's balanced is that his turrets are stationary. Easily being able to move them would be cause for nerfs to them.
