Only on NA server's since the NA boards are whiny as hell about that character. And then Zed too along with Riven, Since these three b@d@$$ characters will never know peace as long as NA boards exist and their circlejerks.
I can assure you that people from EUW don't feel different about Yasuo.
Your definition for "badass" is "generic" to say the least.
Also, people are only complaining about Yasuo now, the stuff about the other 2 is like 2 years ago or something, unless you've missed the memo. And no, Yasuo is complained because his kit is innately toxic and badly designed (like a couple others), and naturally generates a lot of hate for anyone on his receiving end even if Yasuo himself is not strictly strong atm. The same can also be said about Riven and Zed's kit in terms of their kit design too, but they are not played nearly as much as they were so most kinda just tolerate them for now.
Yasuo may as well be deleted when we get 10 bans. I can guarantee you he won't ever see the light of day again. Same with Lee. Maybe Graves.
Zed is one of the most balanced champs in the game atm. It's a joke that people even complain about Zed atm when litterally every single mages oneshots you faster than him with less counterplay and more safety due to range. But ya know bias is a mean lady especially for trash low tiers.
