Is it just me or is this new client garbage?

Every time I want to play I have to wait for the circle to spin around the L, then at login screen I have to click run legacy client, then go through the launch and login screen again. When I'm on the new client its slow as crap and I haven't even noticed anything that makes me want to use it anyway. So here's the poll:
