I am sick and tired of waiting 5 minutes in lobby only to have an active player not fully lock in a champ. I can see why Riot added this feature (to limit the amount of afk players) but if a player picks a F*CKING champion, that means they aren't AFK!!!!!

That's not why they did it. It's goal is to speed up the process by players locking in before the full 30 seconds erodes. They said that multiple times while explaining the system prior to it's release. The issue is it's being counter-productive.
I've never once logged in just to comment something and I've played for 4 years. I HATE HATE HAAAAAATE THIS FORCE LOG RULE. I LITERALLY ACCIDENTALLY DODGED 4 TIMES IN A ROW BECAUSE I'M SO USE TO NOT HAVING TO PRESS THE LOCK IN BUTTON.. SOMETIMES I'LL BE STARING DEAD AT THE CLIENT AND NOT REALIZE THAT IF I DON'T PRESS THE LOCK IN BUTTON I'LL DODGE. IT'S SO IRRITATING. Sorry for the caps but it's so irritating. It isn't even necessary to make me dodge for not pressing a button. I kind of feel like it's just. I have the power to make you press the lock in button. So press it because I said so or feel my wrath...
