Rengars Relationship with his dad (or adoptive father figure if you prefer)

I know this will seem odd as an opening statement but bear with me. What is Rengars relationship with yordles i mean other than Gnar which for some reason he respects? I know rengar is lion like but what if his adoptive father was a yordle and thought that he was tracking down his father when he found Gnar because male lions seek to be leaders of the pride by killing off the leader. Which brings me to the title maybe Rengars dad was a yordle and by following the scent of a powerful yordle he thought he was tracking his father as to take over as the greatest hunter. Also i have gotten a total of twenty minutes of sleep so allow this stupid shiz that you are reading.
