Personal opinions on the new Leaver Buster system

I'm going to start this thread of with the fact that I don't leave games because I rage quit, but I do have a life beyond League, and the new system makes it so that I have to wait 5 minutes for the first set, and now, after a month not leaving games, I have to now wait 10 minutes for the que. I like the fact that they want to punish people who rage quit, but this is getting a little extensive. I just want to get other peoples opinions, offers of better ideas, or just a friendly way of telling me not leave my games as often.
