The Lore of League of Legends Made Me Want to Play

This is the reason I got into the game.

This is the reason I enjoyed the game.

I wanted to be a good Jax player because I wanted to live up to his unbeatable skill.

I wanted to be a good Karma support because I wanted to be able to lead my team into a glorious victory over the enemy. To inspire other living people, as she did fictional ones.

I wanted to cheat the odds and change the Destiny of the match with Twisted Fate.

But with how awfully Riot has approached the lore recently, I have zero motivation to do any of this. To rewrite a character is to destroy the previous one - as if they had never existed.

This is an insult to storytelling and it is an insult to the playerbase.

I am uninstalling the game and moving on. It sure was fun.
