Riot trying to tell me Zed's a "healthy assassin"
Riot: "He's just a single target nuking, aoe, wave clearing, mobile, control burst mage, pusher, bruiser come on guys, he's fine!"

The thing i hate about him most is in lane you CANNOT outpressure him...he just face mash his way to 100cs lead with 0 mana cost aoe clear....fuckin redic
i feel like Zed could certainly use some balancing, although honestly i feel there is a bit of overreaction. Midlane assasins, namely Zed, Akali, and Fizz i find a bit ridiculous just becuase of the insane kill potential and snowball potential they have, without having to worry about mana.
average mage like mid laner: Needs to manage mana, Play carefully as they are squishy and very vulnerable, need to manage their cooldowns effectively
Zed and Friends mid laner: Spam spells due to unlimited energy resource or low costs, get up close and personal because u have sustain and very high all in potential and high mobility
something about this seem a bit wacky, these assasins are generally not the easiest to play (except akali). but have ridiculous kill potential and can heavily punish and snowball off one simple mistake. I would like to see this adressed a bit more for sure.

Lol your description of his role sounds like Lee Sin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrSihRXTrq4&list=LL6D9R_y6gbXUove_BCUqRKw&index=7
And we cant have that better nerf him into the ground like Elise, rather than tune him back properly.
Zed, as an assassin, is healthy... he just has a few laning issues that they're trying to find a solution for that isn't going to either neuter or overpower his assassin pattern.
There's a difference between being a 'healthy assassin' and being 'perfectly balanced'. Riot is saying the former is the case, but the latter is not. So they're trying to find a solution to fix the latter without destroying the former.
