Ping Spikes [Time Warner Cable]

Hello.

I thought I would make this post about the issues that I have been having recently with my internet. I know that a lot of people use Time Warner Cable as an internet provider. Unfortunately I have no choice but to use TWC, I live in upstate NY and there's no other options. I was wondering if other players that use TWC have been experiencing the same issues that I have. Basically what happens is that I will be playing in a game, and will be getting 40-50 ping fine. However, randomly I will spike to 400+ ping for about 5-10m. The spiking doesnt happen every game, and sometimes is fine for multiple games. I was just wondering if anyone else had/has this issue and found a way to fix it.
