Yeah, and that's what the person in the OP's picture did. They were assigned top and said "jungle or bot only" which is clearly not ok. The OP was not complaining about simply having someone pick Caitlyn top, which is very much not against the rules.

Also Kindred is stupidly amazing, the best jungler in the game in 6.8 and maybe still in 6.9 despite being nerfed, and you're probably wrong for taking smite mid.

Yeah report in game likely unsportsmanlike put in comments what they were doing, then submit, and support ticket to make it go faster...

Perhaps I am just flat out stupid but i fail to understand how kindred is the best jungle with a useless ultimate unless combo at specific types of play, or combo with types of team members on the same team, it pretty much is just another ADC champion rather than a jungle despite being close ranged, her kit doesn't feel jungle-ish...

Perhaps I just never played her correctly but it feels like even a Sejuani Jungle is like 100x better because of her mass CC follow up ult ability, as well as other champions like Evelynn makes her feel less troll...

That someone is YOU! Whenever you encounter someone who is doing this, be sure to do your part and file a proper report to help ensure that the Rift remains free from champ select violators.

Only you can prevent champ select ransoming.

Lets face it, we've had the Teemo supports before, and the all AD teams with the Yasuo and zed etc. And although anybody can be a troll and try to justify those positions and how they've played them before and are viable, the reality is that you probably played them in normals and no pro would ever play them in rank, because of common sense. Or what about those players that pick your role and with no shame tell your team "I'm going to troll?" There should be an option (in Rank at least) that allows players on a team to vote in order to dodge the match before it starts, all done in champ select. The option should be available at all times during champ select, and if 3/5 members agree to dodge, it should allow you. After dodging, the players that voted yes would receive a pop up with checkbox options to describe why they decided to dodge, (along with usernames of the people in their lobby) in order to take down on these trolls. You wouldn't be paired with the specific summoner if you click the checkbox next to his name. Riot can deal with reoccurring summoner names. There would be a limit of how many times you can dodge per day(s). I'd say 2 dodges within 48 hours, with a 30 minute gap between dodges (meaning you can't dodge again until 30 minutes after your last dodge). Winning 5 ranked games within the 48 hours allows you to reset 1 of your dodges as if you hadn't used it.
