[League of Smurfs] Players are able to freely troll and be toxic without punishment
Hello.
The title of this post states it all. Honestly, I could give an entire seven page rant about how this effects everyone in the League of Legends community. However, no one is really going to bother to read that. Anyways, back to the point. There's are plenty of instances where players hop on these "Smurfs" and decide, "Hey, I'm going to go into a game. In this game, I'm going to be very toxic to my teammates and then proceed to trolling them. I think I'm going to intentionally feed this game, and then maybe the next game I'll just be really toxic and AFK. Maybe, I'll do all of them at the same time." This is because, people fear nothing when they do this. This of course, isn't their "Main" account, they don't care what happens on it. The account could be banned for all they care, they couldn't care less about this account. They'll be as toxic as the possibly want, basically because they don't care and know there is going to be no punishment from League of Legends or Riot. Now of course, this isn't true. This "Smurf" of theirs is going to be charged with being toxic and intentionally feeding. However, their "Main" account isn't. These players on "Smurfs" are the same people that have "Mains". They simply don't care. These people have no feelings for others when they're on their "Smurfs", no regard for anything they say and no accountability. They know their actions on their side account isn't going to affect them at all on their primary account. This is an extreme issue, and has been here for such a long time. I really only am talking about this issue because a instance of this happened to me.
The story...
It's early in the morning, off to play some League of Legends before I go to bed. A good quality game is what I'm looking for, before I head off for the night. I'm going to go and queue up for normal game. Queue pops, hit accept, and then I'm in champion select. I call fill as usual, quite frankly because I didn't have a preference because it was so late. Before I am even able to say anything in the chat box, a player by the name of "I Only Play Riven Because She Is The Best Champion" (the name is obviously fake, however, the true name of the player was similar to this. For the sake of privacy I will not be releasing the name.) locks in Riven top lane. Then proceeds to call top lane. Regardless of whether or not someone else called top lane, this player decided to lock in. Okay, this player insta-loks a champion top lane, that's fine, we all can live with that. Everyone is happy with their positions, the game starts. Of course, the Riven player has no border, she's a fresh level 30, and she has very few wins. Clearly indicating she's going to be more than likely a smurf. Game finally starts, Riven then proceeds to talk in all chat about how she's smurf and she's going to destroy everyone in the game. Everyone goes to their lane, everyone's laning fine. Riven, surprisingly, dies top lane to the enemy Tryndamere. The Riven player then proceeds to talk that smack towards the Tryndamere saying how Tryndamere is such an easy champions and how he should be ashamed of himself for playing the champions. Needless to say, the Riven continues to die top lane. Despite our jungler's efforts, she continues to die. Somewhere around her third or so death. Riven tells everyone in all chat she's AFK. She then begins running towards the enemy nexus, finally dying to the enemy fountain laser. During this time she is extremely toxic to her team and me specifically. She rants on and on about how shes the best player and never loses. She tells about how she's a smurf and she doesn't care. She tells us that "you guys shouldn't be mad that I'm intentionally feeding and trolling. this is a normals game." I state about how she's ruining my League of Legends experience and how she should stop. She disregards everything I say, and just continues to troll and feeding and be toxic to our team. In the after game chat, she continues to be abusive and toxic towards everyone.

Analysis:
This happens all the time. Players hop on these smurfs and have no regard for anything that happens in the game. They can be different person and still not get punished on their "Mains". This is a huge issue and needs to be address by the entire community and Riot.

I would talk about this subject more, and I more than likely will add the post. However, it's very late at night, and I need to go to bed. Maybe some of the things are taken a little bit out of perspective, it's late and I might just be very tired.
