The old BT... can we have some form of it back?

Simply put, this version of BT is a shell of the old BT, and you changed it's identity from offensive to defensive. If I want a Bloodthirster now I get it over other defensive options (such as guardian angel or banshee's veil) because Blade of the Ruined King is so much better than it that if you can't rush bork, than simply put, you're not good/meta/viable/etc.

Riot please - Champions that can buy BORK are no fun to play as (for me) or against. Please give BT it's old identity back.

I actually prefer the lack of having to stack it every time i die.

That said, it's sub optimal compared to ie/ er

Exactly! You can't rush BT without looking like a fool. BT was core on so many champions that nerfing it made their laning phase so much worse which allows hypercarries free lanes.

And I'm not fond of Tristana in everygoddamn match.

I think the new BT is okay for what it does, and it really does feel more like a 'blood thirster'.

My suggestion has been to create a new offensive item that fills some of the role of the old bloodthirster, but without the life-steal.

I'd like to see something that adds %AD, but perhaps make it a unique passive that only effects ability ratios, rather than auto-attacks (to prevent it being overpowered). As a caster oriented AD item, it'd then also make sense to put something like cooldown reduction on it.

Of course, you'd build it out of B.F. Sword, and it would also grant the same flat AD that BT and BotRK do.

That's my take.

But where would this item go on someone like Graves, Lucian, Ezreal, Corki, etc.? Hoenstly, if they fixed the essence reaver passive to give mana per 5 of w/e, it would be a fine item and could be grabbed on many carries early to solve their mana problems. We have BORK for the late game scaling-carries, how about an offensive item for the midgame focused carries? Would be so nice.

It could be good on Ezreal, but it could also be good on any AD caster marksman (or other role) that relies more on abilities than auto-attacks, or just champions where you want their AD focused abilities to really pack a punch. Not that it'd be bad for auto-attacks, as it'd already have solid AD boost. I would use it on Sivir, Caitlyn, maybe Yasuo, of the champions I personally own. I'm sure there are others it could be useful on too.
