Because once you understand that league is just a game, you stop raging, telling people to kill themselves for doing bad, and start to enjoy this game.

But if you're using that as an excuse for dragging down your team in a ranked match then you should maybe stop playing, or play normals. People play ranked to win man. "Its just a game" is reserved for Aram and Normals. There is a reason Ranked is competitive
Except usually when people say "its just a game" its because they are feeding and throwing the game horrendously and just want to feel better about ruining the experience for 4 other people. It typically doesnt have anything to do with enjoying the game, but is used as an excuse for doing poorly.
that is not true.
When you are trying to climb the ledder. You are getting pissed about stupid things that other players do.
e.g.:
- pushing lane that has no towers or inhibitors.
- overextending
- fighting battle that they cannot win
- farming deep into enemy teritory.
- and this pissed state is even maginfied when they start blaming you or others for their mistakes.
tha fact that "it is just a game" will not help you much.
Hi ! I'm from EUW and I saw some very cool post there. This phrase actually helped me to enjoy the game , now I'm only playing champs I like too and for fun , no more raging at m8s and helping them. Who care of a defeat actually ?
maybe, but people using "it's just a game" as an excuse for doing stupid shit need to realise that most people don't have fun getting shat on.
"It's just X" can be said to anything to the point where it's ridiculous. It's the value we put into things that makes the matter, not the things themselves. We're all currently looking into a chunk of plastic and hitting it with our fingers. It's just a damn computer, yet most people would get upset if somebody trashed it for you.
