If you have played with riot employees you will see there in 99% no chance of toxicity or BM in that game.. so why not riot employees go undercover where they can look up player behavior. I don't know what is the level of toxicity for punishment but they can find a lot of players who needs to be punished if they don't use their riot profiles. I stand up to toxicity and BM and get reported myself for no reason. Many think getting involved into this will get them reported so they stay out of it. Under cover riot guys can reward those who are good examples of summoners and monitor the behavior of toxic players before punishing them.

Rough idea still a lot to be thought on.

A lot of Rioters actually don't have a Riot tag. You may have played with Rioters in the past and had no idea. :o

Kinda...defeats the point of "undercover" if the game tells you they're there.

Notice I didn't say anything about their being undercover. Also notice that it doesn't blow their cover. You just know that of the 5-9 other people playing with you, one is a Rito spy and must be taken out at all costs. Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to kill this Rito spy as many times as possible in a single game (if they are not on your team). However, you cannot kill anyone else on the enemy team. So, who is the Rito spy? No one knows......Dun dun da da dun dun da da etc...

As a Rioter, you can opt to have 'Riot' in front of your name, or you can keep your regular summoner name. For example, I used to just be KateyKhaos prior to working at Riot. When I started, I opted to have 'Riot' added to the front of my IGN.

I can't speak on behalf of the new behavior system, it's not something I'm personally working on. However, if I opted not to put 'Riot in my name, I wouldn't be collecting data - just playing the game.

I played with a Rioter once! He/She was very kind and I didn't even notice they were a Rioter until the end. It was enjoyable. :3

i know zirene just has an account named zirene. I saw him on the client in a game as thresh on the bottom corner thing last night.

If you don't have a riot tag in front of your name, or have an account without a riot tag, do you have any power? What i mean is do you have any jurisdiction over the game you are playing (someone being extremely toxic or 100% intentional feeding etc)

I'm having a hard time asking specifically what i want to ask for some reason.

Ultimately, we're players like everyone else. We're not there to be police - we're there to play and (hopefully) win. :P If someone is being a jerk, we (everyone, too, not just Rioters) can call them out and ask them to stop. If someone is being toxic, we can use the report feature at the end of game.

There was a thread a while back that had a Rioter in a game lobby, he warned the kid to stop being toxic in lobby, warned him to stop being toxic in game - then after the game straight up suspended him. The kid came into forums complaining about "Abuse by Riot employees" and then was given one of the biggest Smites ever... wish i'd saved the thread.

I bet there are Riot employees that are BAMF flames like Johnny Storm Human Torch flames on the servers as well.

nah, not likely. I have played with my fair share of rioters and even in bad games they pretty much keep their cool. If anything they flame themselves.

Actually there's very few comparatively that do that and when they do they get nailed more harshly than normal players do because Riot has extremely high standards and has terminated employees for it.

I played with a rioter once during URF, and I built double sorc shoes Mundo for the dank magic pen. Somehow I didn't get banned :/

That's because building double sorc shoes is not a bannable action. If it was, we'd all be banned, or at least a lot of us. When I was new to the game, everyone on my team would buy two boots because we thought it stacked. :P

One time a my brother played with a Riot employee. The whole team flamed the Riot Employee (Riot-ian? Rito-ee?) for playing badly and it was so bad that the Riot-ian muted all the flamers.

Agreed, that's adding fuel to the fire. That's like someone saying muted in game and I see them talking to the person 5 min later. Also, if I have to mute a player ( which I have a pretty high tolerance of smack talk) its probably because you are harassing or trying to start bickering in the team.
