Multiple lol players on one router

So, my parents usually have a end of the year party. I was wondering if I could get a few of my friends over (wait wtf, this kid has friends?) and play lol together. I heard some people had trouble with a setup like this because their router was pretty old and couldn't handle multiple computers playing league, but mine is pretty new. It's the Verizon Quantam Gateway, if that helps. also, I know little to nothing about networking, so any tips there would be appreciated.

Wrap your router in tin foil, it amplifies the connection. It's kind of the same concept of how a magnifying glass amplifies light rays.

All depends on your upload/download speeds. If you want to test it out before the party try downloading/uploading multiple large files while playing league and see if you lag a lot.
